What do I need to bring with me?
If staying in a MegaPod, please bring everything as though you were camping
If staying in The Woodland Lodge or The Cedar Lodge, duvets and pillows are provided. Please bring a duvet cover for a double bed and two singles (if using the bunk beds), towels and BBQ coals
If staying in Pod Hollow, please bring BBQ coals only, everything else provided!
How many people can you fit in the accommodation?
Each MegaPod can sleep up to four; ideally two adults and 2 children. The Woodland Lodge can sleep 2 adults in a double bed and 2 people in bunk beds. The Cedar Lodge can sleep 2 adults only, whilst Pod Hollow can sleep 4 in 2 King-sized beds.
Do the accommodations have electricity?
Yes, they all have electrical points and lighting.
Are they insulated?
Yes, each pod is insulated with sheep’s wool and double glazed, making it cool in Summer and warm in Winter.
Can you cook in them?
They all have a microwave, toaster and kettle and the MegaPods have a brick-built BBQ. The Woodland Lodge has an electric hob and The Cedar Lodge has an electric hob and an oven. Pod Hollow has a fully fitted kitchen with a dishwasher and freezer.
Are they secure?
The pods have double glazed doors secured with a mortice lock.
Are beds included in the MegaPods?
Each pod has a double bed and a sofa-bed suitable for two.
Is there parking?
Yes, there is parking for one car per Pod in the car park. Please note you are unable to park outside your pod as this would detract from the Woodland Experience. Please contact us if you need more than one parking space and we may be able to help! The Woodland Lodge and The Cedar Lodge have parking directly outside, for ease of unloading. Pod Hollow has its own separate parking for 2 cars.
Where did the accommodation come from?
Our pods are manufactured to a very high standard from either Cumbria or North Yorkshire. The Lodges and Pod Hollow were hand-built on-site.
Is smoking permitted?
We do not allow smoking inside our pods, however, smoking outside the pods is permitted as long as an ash-tray is used and “butts” are not discarded on the forest floor.
